Easter and Egg Hunts

These days when I celebrate Easter or an equivalent, it’s purely in a secular eggs-and-candy event—but in SL, Easter eggs are filled with clothes instead. There has been something of an excess of hunts lately, but they are still wonderful and this Easter was particularly impressive.

Easter-themed hunts are full of gifts in pastels which I can’t normally pull off, so I took a break from normal old me—starting first with the bunny avatar from DP**yumyum (which is out in a range of colors, finally!). Leafy’s Bunny Hop shoes and scarf are outright adorable, so I built an outfit around their pale pink and vivid accents. The dress is a Bunny Hop prize from Parallel Love, and the shirt is an in-store Easter egg hunt prize from Cupcakes. The finishing touch is Zero Style hair, creating a look so gloriously pink that only my bunny av could pull it off.

Then, for a complete change of pace, I tried on two items from the MiaSnow hunt: the purple bunny skin from MiaSnow and beautiful House of Munster hair. It barely feels like me in this skin, and it begs equally vivid colors. I added a pair of shirts from Ibizarre, which are also Easter gifts, and finished the outfit with a skirt from Katat0nik and flats from Pixel Mode. (I jacked the bunny av’s ears, too.) This style is really a credit to MiaSnow’s incredible skin: bold and bright, but undeniably beautiful.
