I’m A F*ckin Rock Star

When Luna found Naith Smit Designs a few weeks back, she was so excited she told me to sign on and immediately tped me there. A lot of Naith’s wares caught my eye — much too much for a single post. So I decided to split up his stuff between two posts, one with Luna and one here.

While my outfit over at My SLife on the D List is unapologetically badass and flamboyant, I decided to opt for a tad more muted look here. A look that exudes the quiet cool of a confident rock star but who isn’t trying to stick out too much today. As a result, the bright baby blue tee and tattoo are almost hidden from view by a simple, plain black hoodie and the jeans aren’t ripped or rusted. Still, he can’t resist having his hair is done up and wearing large, flashy sunglasses.

You might be surprised if you recognized that chin. Yes, that’s an Abyss skin. The Osiris skin doesn’t get a lot of love, even (especially?) from me, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t high quality. I figured it was especially fitting base here, for a look that wants to blend in but can’t help stand out. Extremely widespread and owned by many, it’s hard to make a “unique” look for a Scorpio-based skin. The skin seems to overshadow the small unique intracies of a shape so that everyone who wears it ends looking related to each other, regardless of tone or facial hair option. I like to think my shape is distinct enough to break that mold, but I’m pretty sure that’s not true. All things considered though, it’s a detailed skin with a fair amount of realism that still packs a punch over a year after it’s been released.
